Happy Birthday to my favorite THREE year old boy!!

Today is Karson's third birthday! He is such a sweet boy and I am so proud to be his mommy! He has the best personality and is so silly. I love so many things about him... his "surfer dude" hair, his HUGE smile, the way he says "mm-hmm" instead of yes, his love for his "brobers" and his "baby "seeser." I love when he pretends. You can find him skipping sideways through the house "skateboarding," or runny with his arms out in front of him flying like "pooperman" ... (Superman). I love when he cuddles up next to me and says "I love you Mommy" and then gives me a big kiss and hug. I love him. He is so special!

We had a robot party for him last night. It was a ton of fun and I will be sharing those pictures soon... but I want this post to be about my little birthday boy! He has come a long way in his three years. I will never forget the day he was born. I only got to hold him for a few minutes before they took him away to get him "cleaned up." When he didn't come back in the room, I called down to the nursery only to hear that he was in the NICU. That moment was one of those moments that I will never forget. I remember the sick feeling in the pit of my stomach, I remember how the tears felt rolling down my cheeks, I remember the fear for the unknown. He was transferred to the NICU at Phoenix Children's Hospital where he spent the first 2 weeks of his life. Matt and I were by his side for most of those two weeks. We had Kaleb to take care of, so we did leave at night. I am so thankful everything turned out to be ok... and now I have a healthy 3 year old boy!

I always take the time to look through the pictures of the kids on their special day... Here is a little journey through pictures of Karson's three years!!

Six Months

Half a year. My little princess is one half of a year old!! She is growing way too fast... and her brothers are growing right along with her! Things have been crazy around here the reason that this post is barely making it on the 18th!) We are in full party planning mode. We are having a robot party for Karson this year that has been really fun to plan!

Anyways... back to my six month old!! Kassidy is rolling, smiling and blowing raspberries! She has developed a major dislike to baby food... and only wants to nurse. She spits out anything that you try to give her... bottle, baby food, pacifier... she wants nothing to do with it. That has been a little difficult at times... but we are managing!

She got to try out the bouncer this month and is LOVING it!! She jumps up and down and her eyes get bright when the lights and music come on. She also likes rolling around on the floor with her toys. She is really starting to play... it is so fun to watch her figure things out.

Unfortunately my camera battery charger is MIA, and has been for the past 2 or 3 weeks!! So I don't have any pictures of her in the bouncer yet. But here are a few to hold you over!!

Looking cute at a birthday party!

Here is a better look at her outfit that day... I was loving it!

SO happy!

She takes most of her baths in the sink now... much easier on mommy!

Checking out her crib after bath time!!

Happy half year birthday Kassidy!!
